Hougang Plaza Nasi Ayam Penyet, one of the popular destinations for dwellers around hougang area to stop for Nasi Ayam Penyet. Used to be known previously as Joe corner. Located beside the Kopitiam of Hougang Plaza. Good Points: The chicken is really crispy and golden brown. Good presentation of the dish as a whole, makes you increase your appetite. The sambal tastes really good, it is unique to its own store which goes well with the chicken and rice. The service is pretty fast, and the store opens till quite late, so you can go there for supper.
Points to improve: Chicken may at times be a little raw as they don't want to over cook the chicken. However, they will only re-cook your chicken which you had at first. They wont give you a new chicken. Limited seats in the area as there are only 3 food stalls there.
